Rolling With Dads Play Day Fest

Play Day Fest hits different because it’s built with intention. Hosted at LA State Historic Park, this free, family-friendly experience brought dads, kids, and families together to move, laugh, and be present with one another. It was a space where dads linked up, kids laughed loud, and families moved together—exactly the kind of energy Rolling With Dads exists to create.

Powered by Bobbie and supported by FlutterBy Ranch, Amboy Quality Meats, Happy Dad, and Little Giants Shorts, Play Day Fest centered fatherhood, community, and connection over perfection.

What We Did

We created an open-air play experience designed for real interaction and shared moments. Dads and kids took part in free play, movement-based activities, and family-friendly games that encouraged bonding and teamwork. This wasn’t a typical playdate—it was dads showing up together.

How It Came Together

Our partners helped fuel the day with snacks, refreshments, and support that made the event welcoming and accessible for families across Los Angeles. Every detail was intentional, creating a space where families could simply enjoy being together without pressure or programming overload.

The Impact

Families filled the park with energy and laughter. Dads connected not only with their children, but with other fathers navigating the same season of life. The sense of community was immediate and genuine.

Why It Matters

Play Day Fest reflects what Rolling With Dads stands for—creating spaces where fathers feel supported, visible, and encouraged to engage fully with their kids. When dads show up together, families grow stronger and communities deepen.
